Maintaining a Healthy Park Requires Teamwork!

Good Times Park is committed to maintaining a healthy & safe play facility. Maintaining a healthy Park requires a commitment by parents to avoid bringing children who have known cold & flu-like symptoms (such as fever, sore throat, vomiting, coughing, nasal drainage) to the Park for at least 24-hours following the end of the symptoms.

Many illnesses spread through mouth saliva. For healthy children, the spreading occurs primarily by eating with unwashed hands.  For contaminated children, the spreading occurs after eating by touching items with unwashed hands.

Please follow these standards when eating at the Park:

  • Take a break from playing
  • Consume all food and drink in the picnic area, which is equipped with a hand wash station, table wipes, waste containers, brooms, etc.
    • Eating in other areas of the Park is prohibited for health & cleanliness reasons.
  • Make sure children wash their hands both before & after eating to clean off the germs (and chocolate, Cheetos, & frosting).

Do not allow children to snack & play by running back-and-forth from their snack to the play areas or by grazing on raisins as they play.  They will have a greater chance of contracting and/or spreading illnesses.

According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control, regular hand washing is the single most important means of preventing the spread of infections. Learn more about when and how to wash your hands and the importance of using soap and water
