About Good Times Park Eagan

Welcome to Good Times Park – where playtime is reimagined for families and children in the Twin Cities! Our mission is simple: to create a safe, climate-controlled, and inspiring indoor environment where children can experience the freedom and creativity of outdoor play, every day of the year.

Our Story

Good Times Park was founded out of a genuine need for a space where families could gather, laugh, and let kids be kids, regardless of Minnesota’s unpredictable weather. As parents ourselves, we understood the importance of unstructured, active play for children’s development. We also recognized the challenges parents face in finding clean, secure, and engaging play spaces that offer flexibility and convenience.

In 2013, we opened our first location in Eagan, MN, transforming a 25,000 square-foot facility into a vibrant indoor park. The concept was unique: a self-supervised model where parents and caregivers are empowered to guide their children’s play, while we handle the behind-the-scenes operations. This approach not only fosters stronger family bonds but also allows kids to explore, imagine, and move at their own pace.

Our Eagan park quickly became a favorite destination for families seeking a safe and exciting outlet for energy, featuring playground equipment, a basketball court, a jumping pillow, a ninja course, a soccer field, and picnic areas for family gatherings. We are proud to have created a community hub where laughter echoes and memories are made.

Growing with Our Community

As word spread and our community of members grew, we saw an opportunity to expand our mission. In December 2024, we proudly opened our second location in Woodbury, MN, bringing the Good Times Park experience to the east metro area. Our Woodbury park, spanning 20,000 square feet, offers a thoughtfully designed space with a playground, soccer field, jumping pillow, ninja course, large building blocks, toddler play area, and a picnic area. In May 2025, we added a basketball area to Woodbury, ensuring both locations provide a full spectrum of active play options.

Both parks operate under the same core values: safety, cleanliness, inclusivity, and fun. We are open daily from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM (except on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and with early closure on Christmas Eve), giving families flexibility to play on their own schedules. Our climate-controlled facilities mean that rain, snow, or summer heat will never get in the way of your child’s playtime.

What Makes Us Unique

Good Times Park is not just a play space – it’s a community. Our self-supervised model encourages parents to be present and engaged, while our remote monitoring ensures the safety and security of everyone in the park. We welcome families from all backgrounds, with a special focus on children ages 1-12 (especially ages 2-8). Admission is simple and accessible, with day passes and memberships available for purchase online or at the door. Yearly memberships provide access to both locations, making it easy for families to enjoy all we have to offer.

We believe in the power of play. Unstructured play helps children develop physically, socially, and emotionally. At Good Times Park, kids can run, jump, climb, and create – all in a secure, welcoming environment. Our parks are designed to mimic the best aspects of outdoor parks, with the added benefits of modern amenities and year-round access.
